Darwenside Dental Practice was established over 15 years ago in the heart of Darwen, Lancashire. Our location makes us easy to find, whether travelling by car, train or bus. We have our own private car park, solely for the use of our patients.

We are an 8-surgery practice situated in the centre of Darwen, Lancashire. We are predominantly an NHS practice, with a small percentage of a private base. Most of our private work comes from our NHS patients requesting cosmetic treatment, although we do have a small number of private registered patients.

We have grown from a new practice, into one that is now a part of the community. Our staff are friendly, helpful and professional; always working to the highest of standards. We are open from Monday to Friday, and we are always available for help and advice before and after your treatment.

Information Governance

Access to Dental Records

Patients can have access to their dental records by writing to the Practice Manager. This will incur a charge and you will be informed of these prior to arranging an appointment.

Data Protection

All personal information held by the practice is used solely for the purpose of providing dental treatment. Personal information will not be divulged to any outside authority without the permission of the person concerned.

CCTV

For the purpose of promoting public safety, awareness and crime prevention, our premises are monitored 24/7 by CCTV.

Disabled Access

The Practice has made every attempt to ensure easy access to the building and toilet facilities are available for the disabled.

Patient Responsibilities

We expect patients to treat our staff with the same level of courtesy and respect that we give them.

The practice operates a ‘Zero Tolerance Policy’ and any violent or abusive behavior displayed to any member of our team will result in the immediate removal of your name from the dentist’s list.

Suggestions & Complaints

We do strive to give the type of service our patients would like to receive. If you are unhappy with any aspect of your care or experience while visiting the practice, please speak to a member of staff who will try to address your complaint at the time.
